These concepts are essentials in issues concerning State prototypes of passed times, in the Antiquity, Midle Age and Modern Age, which are revealed today as models imbued with social problems due to power centralization in institutions that manipulate individual and collective personalities. Title: O evolucionismo Darwiniano e sua contribuição para o entendimento da natureza e da condição humana Author: Tussi, Viviane Balbinot First advisor: Hartmann, Paulo Afonso Abstract: This paper aims to present a bibliographic study on the Darwinian evolutionary theory, emphasizing the importance of this for understanding the natural world, as well as its influence on the change of position of man. Initially addresses the teleological interpretation of the world based on the supernatural origin and ultimate purpose. From the nineteenth century, with the publication of Darwin's work, The Origin of Species, is a revolution in the world of thought, which comes to be understood as a natural process, where evolution happens over generations by the mechanism of natural selection, which is one of the fundamental ideas proposed by Darwin in his theory of evolution and common descent, who took the man from his privileged position, showing that it shares a common ancestor with apes. The publication of Darwin's theory was developed from data collected during the voyage aboard the ship Beagle and had contribution Lyell, with his work on geology and Malthus proposed that the "struggle for existence" and was influenced by his grandfather Erasmus Darwin who was naturalistic. From the development of genetics and molecular biology can reveal the nature of human biological, performing comparisons between human and animal behavior, emphasizing that despite having similar characteristics, human behavior stands in aspects of the association ideas and building world knowledge.
