Abstract: This monography aims to present and discuss the extension project “ÂNIMA-BIO -&#xD;
Filmes de animação como uma ferramenta de educação ambiental para crianças”. This project&#xD;
was realized by students and professors of the UFFS, Cerro Largo country. The project was&#xD;
based on five animated movies: Ice Age; Finding Nemo; Madagascar; Over the Hedge and&#xD;
Wall-E. It was realized with students from the sixth grade in basic education enrolled in two&#xD;
public   schools   from   Cerro   Largo   town.   Starting   from   the   movie   framework,   several&#xD;
environmental   issues   were   discussed.   After   the   general   discussion,   the   students   were&#xD;
stimulated to elaborate some phrases and drawings characterizing the movie part that was&#xD;
more important to them. Afterward all the movie exhibitions, a show of all the phrases and&#xD;
drawings was promoted at the UFFS physical dependencies where the most popular phrases&#xD;
and   drawings   were   awarded.   A   questionnaire   concerning   all   the   environmental   issues&#xD;
previous discussed was made with all the participating  children and also with some no&#xD;
participating ones. This questionnaire had the aim to test if the project was efficient in&#xD;
promoting environmental conscious and knowledge. The project was globally evaluated from&#xD;
the analysis of the (1) children phrases and (2) drawings, and on the comparison of children&#xD;
performance on the questionnaire. After all these analyses and after a literature research, it is&#xD;
possible to affirm that animated movies are an efficient tool in promoting environmental&#xD;
conscious and knowledge.

    <summary type="text">Title: Diversidade do povo gaúcho: a transversalidade na busca pela interdisciplinaridade

Abstract: This work has the purpose of discuss the interdisciplinarity, taking the diversity of the &#xD;
people from the state of Rio Grande do Sul as a crosscutting theme. From theoretical &#xD;
assumptions  of  Ivani  Fazenda,  Hilton  Japiassú  and  Edgar  Morin,  it  conceptualizes &#xD;
and  develops  the  interdisciplinarity  theme,  specially  on  three  aspects:  academic &#xD;
formation,  research  and  teaching  practice.  On  the  other  hand,  the  transversality  is &#xD;
conceptualized  by  the  presentation  of  the  crosscutting  themes,  contained  at  the &#xD;
national curricular parameters and is crafted as a device to get to a possibility of a &#xD;
interdisciplinary approach on a particular thematic. Culminating with the issue about &#xD;
the  "gaúcho"  people,  the  definition  of  Diversity  is  built  based  on  the  references  of &#xD;
Phillipe  Perrenoud,  permeated  by  the  concepts  of  Exclusion  and  Inequality, &#xD;
grounded,  specially,  on  thoughts  of  Boaventura  de  Souza  Santos  and  others.  The &#xD;
considerations about the history of Rio Grande do Sul are to justify the exclusion of &#xD;
black,  indian  and  the platinum  gaucho from  the  traditionalist  culture.  This  research &#xD;
concludes that interdisciplinary approaches are more easily achieved when an object &#xD;
of investigation is crossed by a crosscutting theme.

Abstract: This study presents the theme of coexistence at School, under the title “A scholar living&#xD;
in emancipatory and democratic”. And it does considering his first goal of demonstrating the&#xD;
results of research on the concepts of discipline/indiscipline present in the school, as well as&#xD;
the difficulties that the school has experienced in relation to the discipline/indiscipline. And&#xD;
brings family in construction possibilities of living in a democratic and emancipatory, the&#xD;
school investigated. The question-problem, guiding the research is “How the school could&#xD;
help overcome indiscipline, promoting coexistence between the subjects?”. A qualitative&#xD;
research using questionnaires with open and closed questions, for teachers and students of a&#xD;
primary   school   in   the   municipality   of   Cerro   Largo   -   RS.  Allowed   us   to   research   the&#xD;
conclusion that the effectiveness of conscious discipline and not interactive is by producing&#xD;
docile   subjects   trough   rules,   surveillance,   and   punishment,   but   the   establishment   of&#xD;
agreements   between   conscious   subjects   to   coexist   with   democracy   perspective   of&#xD;
emancipation.

Abstract: This text is in a literature search on a topic that has preoccupied and discouraged &#xD;
teachers from public schools. This theme refers to school conflicts, their causes and &#xD;
possible solutions within an interdisciplinary perspective. In this sense, the work is a &#xD;
brief  historical  reflection  in  order  to  understand  what  are  the  changes  that  have &#xD;
occurred in recent decades in school, because the clientele that we receive is not the &#xD;
same as before. With these changes, the methodologies, planning and interpersonal &#xD;
relationships previously used are not consistent with the most current need. So, the &#xD;
question is what changes occurred in public school, what the school's role in this new &#xD;
reality  and  what  changes  are  necessary  for  the  educator  in  this  unusual  context. &#xD;
These issues are raised and in order to reflect and minimize many complaints and &#xD;
cries heard constantly in the staff room and point out possibilities of effecting a job &#xD;
everyday and successfully perceive the conflict as enriching and learning moments.
