Abstract: The current dairy farming landscape is characterized by increasing complexity and instability, requiring increasingly professionalized rural management. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the economic and productive performance of a dairy farm located in the countryside of the municipality of Chapecó, Santa Catarina, following the implementation of a robotic milking system. The research was configured as a case study, with a qualitative, applied, and descriptive approach. Data were collected from the farm's accounting and production records for two periods: September 2022 to August 2023 (Year 1) and September 2023 to August 2024 (Year 2). The analysis was based on productive and economic indicators. The results showed that, after the implementation of the robotic milking system, there was a significant increase in productivity, with the average daily milk production increasing by 16.18% (from 1,582.63 L/day to 1,838.65 L/day) and the production per lactating cow increasing from 29.86 L/day to 30.64 L/day. Total annual milk production also increased by 16.18%, and production per productive area increased from 14,478 L/ha to 16,820 L/ha, evidencing an optimized use of the existing area. From an economic point of view, the activity presented an accounting loss in Year 1 (net margin of -10.29%), evolving to an accounting profit in Year 2 (reduction in the loss to -3.50%), despite total revenue having grown by 5.79%. This transition reflects a gradual improvement in performance; however, the result was significantly impacted by financial expenses arising from the acquisition of financing and,  rimarily, by the high depreciation of assets used in the activity. It was also observed that omitting depreciation in producers' financial analyses can mask the true profitability of the activity. It was concluded that the robotic milking system promotes notable improvements in time management, animal welfare, and production efficiency. However, to ensure the economic viability of the technology in the medium and long term, it is essential that producers implement rigorous financial planning and effective cost control.

Abstract: In the information age, data plays a strategic role in organizations by enabling faster and more informed decision-making. In the road freight transport sector, the use of operational data obtained from tracking systems is essential for identifying risks and planning preventive actions. This study aims to analyze how data analysis can contribute to risk management and support decision-making in cargo transportation. The research was conducted through a case study at Total Conecta de Logística, a company operating in several regions of Brazil. The data were extracted from the company’s monitoring systems and analyzed using Power BI, along with the application of quality management tools such as the Pareto Chart, 5 Whys, and 5W2H. The adopted methodology is applied in nature, with both quantitative and qualitative approaches and a descriptive focus. The results showed that over 76% of the incidents were related to driver behavior, highlighting the need to review training and control processes. Data analysis made it possible to identify recurring failures, map risk areas, and propose corrective actions that led to more effective decisions. The study demonstrates that Business Intelligence tools can transform large volumes of data into useful information, bringing improvements to operational safety, company performance, and risk management. The research also offers relevant contributions to the academic field.

    <summary type="text">Title: Gestão de estoque de EPIs em uma indústria de grande porte do oeste catarinense

Abstract: The management of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is employed to ensure worker safety and compliance with regulatory standards in the industrial setting, highlighting the impacts of poor  dministration of these resources on both employee safety and operational costs. This study aimed to evaluate the PPE inventory management process in a large industry located in western Santa Catarina. The research adopted a qualitative approach, with descriptive characteristics, and was classified as a case study. Data collection was carried out through interviews, document analysis, and on-site observation within the company. The results show the existence of a structured PPE control process, supported by computerized systems and clear internal policies. However, opportunities for improvement were also identified, such as the standardization of the warehouse layout and the strengthening of item traceability, among others. The study proposed suggestions that could be applied by the company, contributing to greater efficiency, waste reduction, and the promotion of a safer working environment.

    <summary type="text">Title: Estratégias de acompanhamento de egressos do ensino superior: uma análise do curso de Administração da UFFS Campus Chapecó

Abstract: This study aims to propose strategies for tracking graduates of the UFFS Administration program at the Chapecó Campus. To this end, an applied methodology with a mixed (quantitative and qualitative) approach was used, employing documentary research and a survey via an online questionnaire with a sample of 90 alumni. The results show that although current follow-up strategies are incipient and have low reach, there is a strong sense of gratitude and belonging to the institution among the alumni, who have achieved significant professional and social advancement after graduation. A great willingness among graduates to maintain this bond was found, with 76.7% expressing interest in participating in events and a potential of 87.8% in contributing with lectures and mentoring. The main demands identified for strengthening this relationship include the offering of postgraduate courses, the creation of efficient communication channels, the promotion of networking, and a greater alignment of the curriculum with the practical skills required by the market. It is concluded that the development of a robust follow-up program, centered on mutual value, is an indispensable strategic tool for the continuous improvement of the course and for strengthening the university's impact in the region.
