Abstract: This work aimed to carry out a theoretical study of plasma dynamics, with emphasis on the physical and mathematical derivations that describe the motion of charged particles subjected to different configurations of electric and magnetic fields. The methodology adopted was bibliographic research, with both qualitative and quantitative approaches, based on sources such as books, articles, and audiovisual materials published between 1960 and 2025. Initially, the fundamental concepts of plasma physics were presented, including temperature, plasma definition, classification criteria, and characteristic parameters. Subsequently, the classical behavior of charged particles in uniform and non-uniform electromagnetic fields was analyzed. Finally, the interaction between the solar wind plasma and Earth’s magnetic field was studied, with emphasis on the magnetic confinement mechanisms that occur in the Van Allen belts. It was found that charged particles originating from the Sun, when trapped by the geomagnetic field, performed cyclotron motion, magnetic mirroring, and drift. These combined motions resulted in closed trajectories, responsible for phenomena such as the ring current. The study sought to contribute to the understanding of the physics underlying these processes and to offer an accessible approach to plasma studies at the undergraduate level.

Abstract: The study addresses the use of educational experiments in electricity and magnetism
within educational settings, with the primary goal of emphasizing the risks involved and
the protective measures to be adopted during their execution. The investigative
method involved the conceptual description and practical analysis of variables such as
voltage, current, frequency, and exposure time to understand their correlations and
effects on the human body. Based on this information, practical measures are
suggested to minimize the risks associated with working with electricity, both in
classrooms and in everyday life. As a practical application of the developed study,
special attention is given to the educational use of Tesla coils, highlighting the
differences between two distinct coil models and their specific characteristics,
demonstrating that potentially hazardous equipment, when properly designed, can
become harmless. Finally, the study underscores the importance of adopting best
practices, such as the one-hand rule, the use of personal and collective protective
equipment, and the redesign of devices to make them less dangerous. It also highlights
the need to integrate these protective principles into initial teacher training programs
to equip educators with the skills to safely and effectively conduct electrical
experiments.

Abstract: In the field of education, it is still possible to come across traditional teaching, which often
results in little interaction between teacher and student in the classroom, making lessons less
interesting, especially when we talk about physics, as it is considered by students to be a very
complex and difficult subject. From this perspective, this research aims to investigate new
knowledge about the teaching of science, as well as exploring new study strategies and
methodologies for the training of physics teachers, and in this context the Pedagogical
Residency Program. The central question investigated is: How has the Pedagogical Residency
Program contributed to the training of physics teachers in Brazil? To this end, we aim to:
identify and analyze the activities carried out by teachers in initial and continuing training in
the teaching of physics in schools after participating in the program; understand how the
Pedagogical Residency Program contributes to the improvement of physics teachers in initial
and continuing training in Brazil. In terms of theoretical foundation, this research is based on
reference authors in the field of education, using a bibliographic approach and employing the
content analysis methodology. The corpus of analysis was papers published from 2018 onwards
in two events in the field of physics teaching: the National Physics Teaching Symposium
(SNEF) and the Physics Teaching Research Meeting (EPEF), both biannual events organized
by the Brazilian Physics Society (SBF). After analyzing the papers, it was found that the
Pedagogical Residency Program contributed to improving the continuing education of physics
teachers. In addition, the participation of students in the classroom was positively observed, as
they benefited from new knowledge and teaching strategies. In this context, the program's
actions have influenced the area of science, promoting the construction of quality education.

Abstract: The present study focuses on a didactic proposal that employs cinematographic films as a
pedagogical resource in teaching Physics in the final years of elementary education, aligning
with the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Using excerpts from films as examples,
corresponding skills related to physical concepts and thematic units of the BNCC were
identified, developing a didactic model for meaningful learning in the classroom. The research
aimed to answer the question: 'How can films assist teachers in addressing BNCC skills related
to Physics for elementary school students?' Emphasizing the importance of using playful
materials, such as film excerpts, enriches the learning process by immersing students in contexts
that offer new perspectives on the covered content. By critically analyzing excerpts from films
like 'Apollo 13', 'The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind', and 'Radioactive', the potential of these
cinematic resources in facilitating the understanding of physical concepts was observed,
establishing connections between the themes of the movies and scientific concepts. This
approach not only contributes to understanding the content but also fosters the development of
skills such as critical analysis, interpretation of contexts, and evidence-based argumentation
aligned with the BNCC. However, limitations were identified, especially regarding restricted
access to films due to rental demands or subscriptions to streaming platforms. It is
recommended to ensure the legality of reproducing these materials and seek institutional
financial support to use them as didactic resources, non-profitably. Emphasizing the relevance
of contextualizing content, awakening student interest, and promoting skills aligned with
educational guidelines. In summary, the research highlights the importance of films as an
effective pedagogical tool in teaching Physics, emphasizing not only the comprehension of
concepts but also the development of fundamental skills. The studies and research conducted
enabled the development of a research product in the form of a Didactic Module proposal,
integrating a proactive methodology that combines pedagogical theory with critical film
analysis to enhance students' understanding and engagement in Physics concepts. The creation
of this module was a significant part of the work, reflecting a practical and interactive approach
in science education. This confirms that appropriate integration of films into the teachinglearning process can significantly enhance the quality of education in Natural Sciences in the
final years of elementary education.
