Abstract: The present work is to expand the way we can understand the user of&#xD;
the healthcare space in order to contribute to the production of&#xD;
environments that support the well-being of users/patients. Its&#xD;
objective is to develop a gamified interface that helps architect&#xD;
professionals in designing environments suitable for the well-being of&#xD;
users who occupy waiting spaces in cancer treatment rooms.&#xD;
Healthcare environments, from an architectural point of view, have&#xD;
many rules to be met, together with flows and spatial organization.&#xD;
The professional architect tends not to approach the ambience as much&#xD;
as in other projects, but architecture must be seen as a way to interact&#xD;
and express themselves with the world. This distance occurs because&#xD;
health buildings are commonly designed for the collective, but the&#xD;
users of these spaces must be welcomed by the ambience, through care&#xD;
for the humanization of the environment and processes. The research&#xD;
was articulated around the concept of sensory architecture, with&#xD;
indications of human senses, ambience and humanization, and finally,&#xD;
gamification, dialoguing mainly with Aloísio Leoni Schmid (2005)&#xD;
and Jane McGonigal (2017). However, the gamified interface created&#xD;
has strategies for bringing the user closer to what the health&#xD;
environment is, some architectural elements that can be attributed to&#xD;
their waiting space, as well as the relationship with the space&#xD;
demonstrated through phrases and words representing some&#xD;
sensations through of letters and images. Through the design of the&#xD;
work it was possible to build the product that is a game that expands&#xD;
the interaction between the user and their environmental perception,&#xD;
being possible that the professional Architect and Urban Planner can&#xD;
analyze through these the possibilities of improving the&#xD;
environmental comfort of the users.
