Abstract/Resumen: The continuous increase in global energy demand has driven the search for renewable alternatives capable of replacing fossil fuels. In this study, a prototype electrochemical reactor powered by photovoltaic energy was developed for the production of biodiesel from sunflower oil, using 304 stainless steel electrodes. The system was designed to operate under mild conditions, with adjustable voltage (10-30 V) and different methanol/oil molar ratios (1:3, 1:9). The influence of these parameters on the physicochemical properties of biodiesel, such as acid value, ester content, yield, and density, was evaluated. The electrochemical process yielded more than 90% and ester contents greater than 96.5%, meeting ANP and EN 14214 standards. The acidity index decreased from 1.85 mg KOH.g⁻¹ in the starting oil to 0.18-0.54 mg KOH.g⁻¹ in the biodiesel, demonstrating the efficient conversion of free fatty acids. The density of the samples (881-889 kg.m⁻³) remained within the limits recommended by regulatory agencies. Statistical analysis (Welch's ANOVA) confirmed significant effects of molar ratio and potential difference on the final acidity of the biodiesel. The results demonstrate the technical feasibility of integrating photovoltaic energy and electrolysis for the sustainable synthesis of biodiesel, highlighting the potential of using low-cost materials and renewable energy sources for biofuel production.

<title>Análise da circulação de conteúdos científicos em vídeos do Tik Tok</title>

Abstract/Resumen: This work has as its research problem and objective to analyze how topics about science, especially chemistry, circulate on the Tik Tok platform and how this content may or may not contribute to the development of scientific knowledge in the school context. The research was carried out in the chemistry undergraduate course at the Federal University of the Southern Frontier - Realeza Campus - PR. Initially, an exploratory research was carried out to identify the most popular content related to science and chemistry, in experimentation videos. After carrying out a pre-selection, the analysis of these videos was carried out based on an adaptation of the criteria proposed by Gomes (2008), in which the author proposes five categories of analysis for audiovisual materials, which are: content, technical-aesthetic aspects, pedagogical proposals, target audience and accompanying material. The results show that most videos on Tik Tok have significant limitations in relation to the analysis criteria, making them inadequate as a primary source of study for young people and adolescents or as an autonomous pedagogical resource. However, some videos can be adapted to complement teaching practices. Therefore, with the teacher's mediation and a critical eye, these materials can serve as starting points or as complements for discussions of concepts in the classroom.

Abstract/Resumen: In this study, we seek to analyze the inclusion of popular science texts on environmental issues in natural science and technology textbooks, adopted in the National Textbook Program (PNLD) of 2021. This work is part of the undergraduate course in chemistry, belonging to the Federal University of the Southern Border (UFFS). In this study, the popular science texts have environmental issues as their central theme. This choice was made due to the growing need to discuss environmental issues in society, the consequences of which are already felt more and more intensely. In the first part of our analysis, we characterize the way in which popular science texts are incorporated into textbooks. In a second moment, we carry out a deeper analysis of some of these texts, highlighting, for example, the emphasis given to the topics addressed from the theme "climate change", as well as the context of their inclusion in the units and chapters of the books. The research problem revolves around how popular science texts on environmental issues circulate in natural science and technology textbooks and what the implications of these texts are for the development of environmental themes, specifically climate change, within the school context. Therefore, during the analysis, we identified several relevant themes, such as deforestation, fires, ocean acidity, species extinction, climate change, the struggle of indigenous peoples for their territories, soil and water pollution, use of pesticides and preservation of Brazilian biomes, among others. Based on the results obtained, we can infer that such texts circulate in different forms in the books, including exercises, tables, illustrations, boxes and other strategies. In addition, these insertions present a variety of sources that can help teachers promote discussions on environmental themes in the classroom.

Abstract/Resumen: The present study presents research conducted at the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul – Campus Realeza, whose objective was to identify the contributions of planning, creating, and evaluating educational games to the initial training of science teachers. For this purpose, a Pedagogical Workshop was held during the I Academic Week of Physics and Chemistry (I SAFQ), with the participation of 21 undergraduate students from the Chemistry, Physics, and Biological Sciences degree programs. During the workshop, theoretical-methodological concepts related to the creation and use of educational games were addressed, which were later developed by the participants using a digital tool. Data collection occurred in two stages: 1) Initial Questionnaire (QI) conducted prior to the workshop activities and 2) Final Questionnaire (QF) conducted after the activities. The qualitative methodology employed for analysis was inspired by Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA), and the Strands of Teacher Learning (FAD) were adapted to the context of the investigation and used as a priori categories. The results revealed the occurrence of responses in practically all foci, for both the QI and QF, with emphasis on Focus 1* [interest in educational games] and Focus 2* [practical knowledge of educational games], demonstrating that the workshop served as a significant first contact for the participants with the work on educational games. However, the low number of responses in Focus 5* revealed the need for broader and more continuous training regarding the use of educational games, essential for strengthening the teachers' identity and autonomy concerning the use of this tool.
