Mulheres em marcha - Uma visão introspectiva da participação da mulher nas eleições municipais em Três Arroios (RS)

Abstract

The main of this academic work is to approach the women participation in all instances of society, emphasizing its participation in the political party life and about the challenges found there. The analysis and the data generation about female candidatures guide this work that is anchored and based on official data, giving consistency in what is intended to expose. Throughout the study, is sought to show a particular unrest about suffered submissions by woman in society, family and political parties. Therefore, this is the main reason of choice of subject for this academic work. It seeks to reflect about women in the socio-political interaction and in all the instances where the female figure is in, since in the family society, at work, in the intellectual qualification, in the volunteer work, up to the political parties challenges. As results of the search field, the hypothesis are confirmed, that is, all of the women interviewed highlight the existence of male influence in the decision of who vote for, thus, the women don’t have freedom of choice; women compete in the elections to fill the female quote, being pressed by political parties; and finally, a woman don’t vote for a woman because there is preconception, and even they signalize lack of commitment and the existence of buying and selling of votes.
