Feiras agropecuárias e tecnificação agrícola: a influência do Itaipu Rural Show no oeste catarinense entre os anos de 1998 e 2017

Abstract

The present work proposes an investigation about the influence of the “Itaipu Rural Show” in the diffusion of the agricultural technification between the years of 1998 and 2017 in the Santa Catarina west, since the agricultural fairs are presented as important diffusing elements and still need studies. The “Itaipu Rural Show” comes in 1998 when the “Cooperativa Regional Itaipu” transformed the traditional field days in a fair developed at the “Centro de Treinamento e Difusão de Tecnologias” in the municipality of Pinhalzinho-SC. For this, this monograph was segmented in three chapters. The first one, in addition to work the historicalterritorial formation of the region, discusses the role of agricultural modernization, especially from the perspective of ACARESC's action. The second, addresses fairs and agricultural exhibitions as showcases of agricultural technification. To finish, the third characterizes and analyzes the “Itaipu Rural Show” as an instrument for the continuous agricultural technification of the proposed cut.
