Análise dos impactos provocados pela poluição luminosa no município de Cerro Largo

Abstract

Light pollution is a fact of our daily life whose complexity goes unnoticed, because it has no visible characteristics or, often, direct impact with the population, unlike other pollution. Such irrelevance is not only on the part of the people, it is also in the neutrality of politics, since in Brazil there are currently no laws governing this issue. The present work has the purpose of analyzing if there is light pollution in the municipality of Cerro Largo and its impacts, and how we can mitigate these situations and what their benefits will be. The municipality presents light pollution, specifically in the city square. It is concluded that the city should be planned for a future of urban progression so that there is no greater harm from this pollution, and that in a direct way one should change the light fixtures that project light up or even those that do not have adequate lighting dispersion in the soil, which is the case of the poles. The issue of light pollution must be approached and shared with the population so that there is a large scale change and that it understands this problem that is so little studied.
