O pensamento de Jhoann Heinrich Pestalozzi e a educação integral contemporânea

Abstract

This study brings to light the knowledge of the fundamental ideas of major educational Enlightenment thinker, Johan Heinrich Pestalozzi. Methodologically, was chosen a historical - critical study, seeking to revisit and contextualize the major derivatives Pestalozzian thought theoretical contributions. These are contextualized within historical, social and philosophical moments in the modern pedagogue lived. Brings aspects of their experience in Stans, where there the thinker and educator demonstrated his concepts of doing education. These were founded and mainly based on the "Love Teaching”, this being a tool of great value to the subject could bring out the divine essence contained therein. Another basic aspect of Pestalozzian thought was to introduce children in economic rationality, and at the same time, contribute to each one developed his personality autonomy, as well as an autonomous morality in a society that had the characteristics of freedom and responsibility. This way he evidenced the Integral Education of the human being, the development of all the powers that it has a chance to improve. Finally, bring the relevant contributions of this important thinker‟s thought, for Comprehensive Education that is present today in Brazil, we can state that Pestalozzi was the main source of the concepts that are presented, although his name is little mention.
