dc.description.abstractAnalysis chromosomal in H. malabaricus (Bloch, 1794) (Characiformes, Erythrinidae) in the River Capanema, Realeza , PARANÁ. The H. malabaricus group presents a wide variety karyotype, representing a complex of species and it is characterized for have seven karyomorphs clearly identified based in the diploid number, chromosome morphology and chromosomes sex. This paper have the proposed to analyze a cytogenetic techniques of H. malabaricus in the natural populations present in the Capanema River, the southwest region of Paraná, belonging to the stretch of Iguaçu River. The females showed a diploid number of 40 chromosomes (14m + 26sm) and the males 39 chromosomes (14m + 25SM) belonging to the cariomorfo D, the which presents a sex chromosome system (X1X1X2X2/X1X2Y). The C-banding showed the presence of heterochromatin in the regions centromeric and pericentromeric in largely of chromosomes. This search presents the first record the karyomorph D of H. malabaricus on the Iguaçu River basin, being this reported in the last stretch of course.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO grupo Hoplias malabaricus apresenta grande variedade cariotípica, representando um complexo de espécies, se caracterizando por ter sete cariomorfos claramente identificados com base no número diploide, morfologia cromossômica e cromossomos sexuais. Este trabalho propôs analisar através de técnicas citogenéticas populações naturais de H. malabaricus presentes no Rio Capanema, região sudoeste do Paraná, pertencente a trecho do baixo rio Iguaçu. As fêmeas apresentaram número diploide de 40 cromossomos (14m + 26sm) e os machos 39 cromossomos (14m + 25sm), pertencente ao cariomorfo D, o qual apresenta sistema de cromossomo sexual (X1X1X2X2/X1X2Y). O bandamento C demonstrou a presença de heterocromatina nas regiões centroméricas e pericentroméricas em grande parte dos cromossomos. Este trabalho apresenta o primeiro relato do cariomorfo D de H. malabaricus na bacia do Rio Iguaçu, sendo este relato no último trecho de seu curso.pt_BR
