dc.description.abstractThe effect of the insecticide fipronil on soil was evaluated by the soil was evaluated by the soil basal respiration test, microbial biomass carbon test and by the metabolic quotient test. The amounts of insecticide applied consisted of control (zero dose), commercial dose (0.8 mg.kg-1 of fipronil soil), 10, 30 and 50 times this concentration. The results obtained in all tests showed high variability between the samples that received the application of the insecticide and the control sample (zero dose). The oscillation in results shows that it is not possible to properly assess the extent of the impact on soil microbiota suffered after applying the insecticide fipronil. To confirm the environmental impact caused by the use of fipronil is required a greater number of samples analyzed and others tests.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoAvaliou-se o efeito do inseticida fipronil no solo pelo teste de respiração basal, carbono da biomassa microbiana e quociente metabólico. As quantidades de inseticida aplicadas consistiram na controle (dose zero), a dose comercial (0,8 mg.kg-1 de solo de fipronil), 10, 30 e 50 vezes esta concentração. Os resultados obtidos em todos os testes mostraram alta variabilidade entre as amostras que receberam a aplicação do inseticida, e a amostra controle (dose zero). Com esta oscilação nos resultados, não é possível avaliar adequadamente o grau de impacto sofrido na microbiota do solo perante a aplicação do inseticida fipronil. Para confirmação é necessário um maior número de amostras e outras análises.pt_BR
