A memória como raiz da identidade: sujeitos históricos da Linha Jacaré em Cândido de Abreu / PR

Abstract

The central objective of the present study is to make the historical and identity retrieval of the Jacaré Line community, located in the municipality of Candido de Abreu, in the north central region of Paraná, investigating its different social and cultural relations, as well as its agrarian system since its formation . In this sense, we first sought to analyze the process of formation and occupation of Traditional Paraná, and the most important cycles related to the emergence of the Linha Jacaré community in the municipality of Candido de Abreu. Soon after, we want to understand its development process. In this sense, we verified the existence of several processes of territorialization, present both in the initial occupation - and consequent disappearance of the indigenous populations - as well as in the more recent occupation of squatters, caboclos and immigrants, who from the second half of the twentieth century emerge a new identity in the region. The study of the economic cycles is important in the search for the historical rescue of the formation of the regional identity of the Jacaré Line, since it was from the cycle of the wood and the safristas of the swine industry that the community was formed, also appearing peasant logic from the contact with multiple cultures. Finally, with the interviews conducted in the oral history modality, we intend to raise questions that allow us to raise the origins of the studied community, as well as their regional identity.
