Relação das micro e pequenas empresas com o PIB e o desemprego no Estado do Paraná

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship of micro and small enterprises with the gross domestic Product and unemployment in the State of Paraná in the period 2003 to 2013. In the theoretical framework are highlighted the characteristics of the micro and small enterprises, GDP, unemployment and its implications. To relate the variables were used data collected from the Board of trade of Paraná, at the Institute of Social and Economic development (IPARDES), and the simple regression analysis to verify the relationship of micro and small enterprises with the rate of eviction and the gross added value. It is concluded that, during the period studied, the Meps were responsible for generating annually an average of 39.35% of formal jobs in the State of Paraná. The Meps contribute to the reduction of the vacancy rate and to an increase in the gross added value, according to the regression analysis. So it is necessary to improve the ongoing programmes to assist these companies as the program good deal Paraná and the rate charged on turnover of Meps and implement more public policies that may further strengthen these undertakings and thus further contributing to the dynamism in the economy of Paraná.
