| Resume: | Objetivo: Avaliar o tratamento através de Artrodistração dos pacientes com doença de Legg-Calvé-Perthes, classificados como Laredo 5 com potencial de boa remodelação óssea. Métodos: Estudo teve como população os pacientes com diagnóstico de doença de Legg-Calvé-Perthes classificados como Laredo 5, tratados através de artrodistração no Instituto de Ortopedia e Traumatologia do Hospital São Vicente de Paulo (IOT/HSVP), de Passo Fundo-RS, no período entre janeiro de 2009 e março de 2018. Os pacientes foram avaliados em relação a evolução pré e pós operatória da abdução e clínica e radiologicamente através do Harris Hip Score e da classificação de Stulberg respectivamente. Resultados: Houve aumento significativo da abdução na artrodistração do pré para o pós operatório (p<0,001). O aumento médio foi de 27,2° (IC 95%: 16,2° – 38,3°). Conclusão: Pacientes com Legg-Calvé-Perthes classificados como Laredo V, com potencial de boa remodelação óssea, tem melhora na abdução quando submetidos a artrodistração, o que não se traduziu na melhora clínica e radiológica. |
| Abstract: | Objective: To evaluate the treatment of patients with Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, classified as Laredo 5 with potential for good bone remodeling, treated through Arthrodesis. 28 Methods: Patients with a diagnosis of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease classified as Laredo 5, treated by arthrodesis at the Instituto de Ortopedia e Traumatológica of Hospital São Vicente de Paulo (IOT / HSVP), in Passo Fundo, RS, Brazil, were studied period between January 2009 and March 2018. The patients were evaluated in relation to the pre and postoperative evolution of the abduction and clinical and radiologically through the Harris Hip Score and the Stulberg classification respectively. Results: There was a significant increase of the abduction in the preoperative to the postoperative arthrodesis (p <0.001). The mean increase was 27.2 ° (95% CI: 16.2 ° -38.3 °). Conclusion: Patients with Legg-Calvé-Perthes classified as Laredo V, with potential for good bone remodeling, have improved abduction when submitted to arthrodesis, which did not translate into clinical and radiological improvement |
