Êxodo rural no Município de Viadutos: a permanência no campo é possível?

Abstract

The focus of this work is to understand the rural exodus in the general context, but its research focuses on the search for an understanding of a case study in the Viadutos municipality. Based on the great rural exodus occurring in the municipality, it seeks to understand this phenomenon, bottlenecks to a more specific study in the community of Line 4 Viadutos municipality, which this movement develops with more intensity. The study has two core objectives: 1º Understanding the rural exodus of general forms which revolves around this movement; 2° Understand the causes and motives to which farmers in the community abandon their properties and migrate to other regions and industrial poles, thus outlining the trajectory so that we can have a basis from a case study to compare in the future With other regions of the country. And finally a general analysis of the research carried out. This work by regional development as a theoretical and field research, reveals in itself an intrinsic relationship between cultural, political, social and, undoubtedly, economic elements, in addition to revealing a discuses on the part of our politicians with the situation in the countryside and with family farmers in Alto Uruguai.
