Democracia e justiça social na Demarquia e no Anarquismo

Abstract

This work analyzes notions of democracy and social justice presente in the theories of Hayek and Burnheim’s demarchy and Proudhon’s anarchism. Its general objective is to critically point out aspects of democracy and social justice in demarchy and anarchism. The research is theoretical, oriented by bibliographic examination and investigation, in order to verify the impasses of democracy and social justice and to analyze what the ideas of demarchy and anarchism can contribute to the realization of a critical reflection on the role of the State in contemporary societies. The scenario to wich the authors in question are subject is described, punctuating aspects of democracy and social justice. And then, it analyzes the points of affinities and differences between demarchy and anarchism, their assumptions and elements of formation. It identifies contributions to the resolution of the impasses between the two models and to the impasses of contemporary democracy.
