Terra indígena de Mangueirinha/PR: relações sociais, ambientais e o avanço do agronegócio

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the relationship of the Kahngág and Guarani Mbya peoples of the Indigenous Land of Mangueirinha, state of Paraná, with nature, especially with the Araucaria forests. Its theme presents approaches that allow us to understand the process of opening up new areas for agriculture in the Indigenous Territory and the advance of agribusiness over native forests. The research methodology consisted of a bibliographic study and the application of semi structured interviews. In light of this, this research demonstrated the relationship between the indigenous peoples of the study area and nature, highlighting the changes that are taking place in the Indigenous Land with the entry of agribusiness.
