Abstract

This course conclusion work comprises the power relations in the territory of the São Miguel Arcanjo Archaeological Site, located in the municipality of São Miguel das Missões - RS. Dialoging beyond the concept of power, landscape application to visualize how the terrestrial, social and political ones of this cut, as well as the very understanding of territory, target of disputes and affections in the past and contemporary times. Some excerpts from the text of the Spectáculo Som e Luz do Espetáculo briefly and with a poetic tone, as occurred in the second cycle of the Jesuit-Guara Redactions, based on the text that this presentation significantly contributes to the construction of the collective imagination that helps in the construction from the imaginary this missionary period (1682-1756). as a methodological route, the survey of articles, book chapters and audiovisual materials that brought different perspectives on our research theme. In addition, exploratory field work and interviews with the current secretary of Tourism of the municipality, who as well as tourists and locals were at the site. It is understood that power relations manifest themselves in different ways and have many elements that help in this construction, such as artistic shows, narratives and silencing.
