Author: | Buratti, Rafael |

Abstract: | Wheat is an important crop for agriculture. the use of quality seeds is necessary for successful implantation of the culture. The silicon, can bring several benefits to plants, it becomes beneficial to the plants in several ways, such as being a water retainer, and helps against diseases and bacteria. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the effects of the treatment of wheat seeds with different sources and doses of silicon (Si). The sources used were: carbonized rice husk ash - CAC (± 92%), with doses of 0, 30, 60 and 90g of silicon for 100kg of seeds, and the commercial product Prosilicon® (10% of Si), with the doses of 0, 1, 2 and 4 ml/L. After the treatment evaluations were made, such as: germinations, the speed of germination, length of seedlings, dry mass of seedlings and accelerated aging. The results obtained were submitted to analysis of variance and regression (doses of Si). Considering the variables that had the doses effect, it is possible to say that for the treatment of wheat seeds, cultivating Tbio Duque, with rice husk ash (CAC), there was an increase only for germination, length of aerial part of seedlings and dry mass of roots, at doses of 90, 60 and 30g of Si/100 kg of seeds. For the treatment of wheat seeds, cultivating Tbio Duque, using the product Prosilicon®, the doses of 1 and 4 ml/L had the best performance in most of the variables analyzed. |
