O processo de diversificação em duas propriedades rurais de agricultura familiar no município de Ubiretama-RS

Abstract

Studies on the diversification reinforce that this is an alternative to the development of small farms, making possible forms of production existing in them, since, for example, commodities are not as viable options for these small family farms. Our intention is, therefore, analyze this process of diversification in two farms situated in the municipality of Ubiretama. This study is characterized as a multi cases study, descriptive, qualitative, in order to be analyzed in depth the study objects, with the intention of obtaining new information and knowledge related to the subject, thus adding more this study for academia. Finally the research found, with this study, changes that occurred with the introduction of diversification in properties, configuring it as a form of contribution not only to the academic community, but also the properties involved, with the provision of these results, to strategies that can increase and improve development productivity. Completing the study is accepted descriptive hypotheses , since it was observed that the diversification of activities on the properties was the increase in income , and as a result we have the family succession as it encourages young people to stay in the property (half rural) .
