Gravidez na adolescência: desafios familiares, escolares e sociais

Abstract

This study attend as partial requirement of approval in the course of Degree in Social Sciences of the Federal University of the South Frontier and its theme are teenage pregnancy in family, school and social relations. It aims to identify and understand the transformations and changes that occur in the life of adolescents with pregnancy and what the connection of these changes to the family, educational and social contexts to which they belong. In addition, we sought to identify and understand the transformations and changes that occur in the life of adolescent students in face of the gestational state. The main approach to teenage pregnancy were attributed in particular to the theoretical frameworks of Sociology, with Pierre Bourdieu, Michel Foucault and Émile Durkheim as their focus. The center of the research was on the student’s behavior and notions in relation to the institutional scenarios to which they belong, at a time when the pregnant adolescent emerges as a possible problem in opposition to social expectations. In order to carry out this research, we opted for a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews and open questionnaires, in addition to a participant observation with the students of the Basic Education School Coronel Lara Ribas, located in the city of Chapecó - SC. At the end of the research, it was possible to raise different problems and situations that pregnant adolescents spend in different contexts in which they live.
