Programa de prevenção de riscos ambientais para os laboratórios de ensino e pesquisa da UFFS Campus Chapecó

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an Environmental Risks Prevention Program - ERPP for four laboratories of Teaching of Research from UFFS – campus Chapecó, which are working in temporary locations. Furthermore, recognize the environmental risks present in eight laboratories under construction, which will cater the Environmental Engineering course. To perform the ERPP, interviews with the technicians of the laboratories have been made, as well as site visits, and for the recognition of the risks in the laboratories under construction, were made analysis of the local plants, interviews with the works supervisor and visits in the laboratories. As a result, it was identified that all the temporary laboratories which the ERPP was established to, offer many environmental risks, since they have an old structure, lack of individual and collective equipment protection, inadequate countertops and floors, lack of space, among other problems. Already in the permanent laboratories fewer agents of environmental risks has been identified. This is due to the fact that these laboratories were designed according to the requirements of the regulatory standards of the Labor and Employment Ministry, predicting conditions that ensure the health and safety of the employees.
