Distribuição da "Dicksonia sellowiana" na Floresta Ombrófila Mista: um recorte para a Floresta Nacional de Chapecó

Abstract

In the Santa Catarina State, we consider the importance of Mixed Ombrophylous Forest or Araucaria Forest as a supporter of local biodiversity. In the territory occupied by this forest, we can see unique features of this place. The Dicksonia sellowiana, exclusive plant this vegetal formation, can be seen as a testimony to the existence of the Araucaria forest, especially in the West of Santa Catarina region. The plant grows in the understory formed by other species, requiring large shade range to develop. The main objective of this research is to verify the incidence of Dicksonia sellowiana plant in western Santa Catarina region. The study will be conducted in Chapecó National Forest.
