Gênese e organização do macrossistema elétrico: entre a divisão territorial do trabalho e o desenvolvimento produtivo no oeste de Santa Catarina

Abstract

The research seeks to understand the genesis and organization of the electric macrosystem in the Western Region of Santa Catarina, in the context of regional integration in territorial division of labor and the electric system, considering also summarize the contribution of the electric macrosystem for the development of regional productive forces. It is understood that currently the fluidity and flexibility of the territory are guaranteed a great extent, by the densification of the techniques of communication, transportation and production. Modern techniques for carrying out the work and globalization are marked by a path that has been reorganized territorially from a natural means, through a technical-scientific means until the current set characterized by technical-scientific-informational means. Behind the realization of large integrated systems of communication, transportation and production of goods and information there is the electric macrosystem, which enables the operation of other systems techniques. In this sense, it is noticed that in West of Santa Catarina the electric macrosystem was organized into four periods, in which the territorial configuration shows a relatively homogeneous set of characteristics: i) The natural mean and the precedents of technifying; ii) The technical means with isolated power systems with local production and consumption; iii) The technical and scientific means: integrated-state power system - and state; iv) the technicalscientific-informational achieved by the organization of the national electricity macrosystem and the inclusion in the West region in the territorial division of work. At the end of the research is evident that the electric macrosystem contribute incisively to the productive reorganization of the territory, adding to the other mechanisms composing the new organic structure of the territorial division of the contemporary work. The territorial transformations do not get exclusively by the expansion of the fixed components of the own electric macrosystem, such as the old territorial dynamics break with the implementation of large projects of electricity generation, but also occur through new territorial dynamics as a result of modernization of the economic bases, production and consumption, contributing to the expansion of production of the territory under the auspices of the globalized capitalist system.
