A inobservância dos direitos humanos na cidade de Chapecó no contexto da ditadura militar: análise de depoimentos judiciais de presos políticos

Abstract

This paper carries out the analysis of judicial investigations of political prisoners in the city of Chapecó-SC, during the early years of the military dictatorship in Brazil (1964- 1969). The main goal is to work the various forms of human rights violations carried out by the military in the first months of the military dictatorship, which was evidenced by the testimonials. Starting from such violations, it seeks to enter the Chapecó city in the context of military dictatorship and regionalize the debate, showing that the violations do not happen only in large urban centers. Therefore, we sought to define the construction of human rights internationally, thus being able to understand the violation of these rights in Chapecó. The arrests made in the state of Santa Catarina are inserted into the Doctrine of National Security Policy, which sought to intervene in any form of protest against the government. To understand how the violations occurred in the city of Chapecó, it was analyzed a series of statements contained in the compensation proceedings against the State of Santa Catarina.
