Produção científica sobre liderança transformacional: análise bibliométrica nas bases de dados scopus e web of science entre os anos 2010 a 2016

Abstract

Investigation about leadership has been one of the most sought áreas in social studies and in the most different organizational atmosphere. Therefore this study it is the work of conclusion held as final requirement for completion of the course Bachelor's degree in business administration from Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul - Cerro Largo Campus, titled, scientific literature about transformational leadership: bibliometric analysis in the databases Scopus and Web of Science between the years 2010 to 2016 and proposes as general objective to build bibliometrcis methods in the scientific analyses about transformational leadership in the databases Scopus and Web of Science from 2010 to 2016. Thus in order to accomplish this research, it was used as an approach quantified bibliometrics. In this regard, 53 scientific papers that had the key word transformational leadership in its headings were anlised, consequently the main features in that area of study were investigated. Thereby, the findings that the scientific production reported na evolution in the publications form 2010 to 2014, even if in 2015 tabled a higher number than in 2010 which had a lesser outcome than in 2014. Whereas, 2016 presented a low number of stidies due to the time of data collection, so there weren’t many publications of the year. The outhors got emphasis since 32 (67,92%) of the presented studies two and three authors had as benefits, quality, quantity and maturation of the issues of study. In relation to the type os research, highligts that th quantitative studies prevail witch 36 (68%), followed by the qualitative with 12 (23%) and in third the quali/quanti with 5 (9%) respectively. Concernig the level of detail of the research it exemplied that 96% (51), of the studies are prevailed by the empirical search in the investigated scientific papers, and with 4% (2) in the studies are in theoretical search. With the most important institutions, Psychology College, University of Ruhr Bochum, Universita¨tsstr are pointed out. Bochum, Alemanha with theree publications in the time of study by knoledge management and inovation highlighted with 17% (9), in the analised studies. Eventually the transformational leaders are important representatives for the interaction between organization and people, aiming that the followers challenge themselves, change their own beliefs, beginning to develop their interests for the collective, through strategies and behavior reaching the results in team in the organizations.
