Práticas de linguagem oral e escrita em uma instituição de Educação Infantil do município de Erechim-RS

Abstract

This study presents a qualitative research that aimed to analyze the oral and written practices developed in a children‘s education classroom in Erechim City - RS, with children of five and six years old, with a view to the constitution of a proposal of Intervention that contributes to the process of language acquisition of these children. The data were produced in an Early Childhood institution in the municipality through a participant observation with the group of children, as well as the semistructered interviews with two teachers and a pedagogical coordinator. From the data generation, three categories emerged for analysis: oral and written language and the relation with space in the institution researched, oral and written language and teacher‘s practices, and oral and written language and interaction with play. The theoretical context of this study was based on authors such as: Ariès (1981), Bombassaro (2010), Freire, M. (1983), Heywood (2004), Horn (2007), Kishimoto (2000, 2003, 2010a, 2010b, 2013), Kuhlmann (1998), Kramer (1982, 1993, 2000, 2002, 2007, 2011), Soares (1996, 2004, 2009a, 2009b), Vigotski (2007, 2008), and others. Through the analysis, we showed the presence from oral and written language. Questions such as the organization of the space and the timetable were highlighted. In the developed practices, the work emphasized especially the letters of the alphabet and the proper name of the children. I also noticed that few moments were like talking, especially with the aim of promoting the children‘s dialogue. Thus, we developed a proposal of intervention with the objective of contributing to the process of acquisition of the language of these children, involving the strategies on the conversation wheel, in order than to contribute to the discussions about language in Early Childhood Education.
