| Resume: | A área foliar é um dos principais parâmetros de crescimento das plantas, sendo diretamente relacionada com a produtividade da cultura. Existem vários métodos para determinação da área foliar, dentre eles se destacam os não destrutivos que são de fácil execução e precisos, por possibilitar o acompanhamento da cultura durante todo seu ciclo e desenvolvimento. Portanto, neste trabalho objetivou-se obter modelos matemáticos que possibilitem determinar a área foliar por meio de mensuração do comprimento e largura das folhas da Physalis peruviana. O experimento foi realizado na área experimental da Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul, Campus Cerro Largo no período de 24 de julho de 2017 a 21 de fevereiro de 2018. Os dados coletados durante o experimento foram analisados utilizando o software Excel ® . Para determinar a área foliar foi utilizado o método direto onde se realizou a mensuração do comprimento da folha desde o início do pecíolo até o fim da nervura central e a maior largura da folha perpendicular à nervura central. Ainda para obtenção das regressões utilizou-se o método destrutivo, onde as folhas foram cortadas em círculos, concluindo que o melhor modelo é o que utiliza a medida da largura das folhas. |
| Abstract: | The leaf area is one of the main growth parameters of the plants, being directly related to the productivity of the crop. Based on this, there are several methods to determine the leaf area, among them the non-destructive ones that are easy to perform and precise, because they allow the monitoring of the crop throughout its cycle and development. Therefore, the objective of this work was to obtain mathematical models to determine the leaf area by measuring the length and width of leaves of Physalis peruviana. The experiment was carried out in the experimental area of the Federal University of Fronteira Sul, Campus Cerro Largo from July 24, 2017 to February 21, 2018. To determine the leaf area was used the direct method where the measurement of the length of the leaf from the beginning of the petiole to the end of the central vein and the largest width of the leaf perpendicular to the central vein. In order to obtain the regressions, the destructive method was used, where the leaves were cut in circles, concluding that the best model is the one that uses the width measurement of the leaves. |
