| Resume: | O presente estudo interdisciplinar articula gênero, memória, arquivo e fotografia com o objetivo de discutir se a memória oficial da cidade de Erechim, localizada no norte do Rio Grande do Sul, marca, por meio de suas representações visuais sobre mulheres um ideal de gênero. Pretende-se ainda, investigar se é possível visualizar relações de poder no âmbito da memória e esquecimento locais. O corpus de análise para este estudo é constituído de setenta e seis fotografias armazenados em pastas dentro do Arquivo Histórico Municipal Juarez Miguel Illa Font, denominadas “4. Mulheres” e “4.1 Mulheres”. Para tanto, a pesquisa é dividida três partes. A primeira parte aborda discussões que permeiam questões de feminismo e gênero; a segunda parte procura esclarecer o arquivo enquanto uma intuição não neutra e suas relações com a memória; a terceira parte, amparada pelas problematizações apresentadas nas duas primeiras, trata sobre metodologias de análises de fotografias, possibilitando assim, a análise dos arquivos fotográficos presentes na instituição de memória oficial do município. Finalmente, os resultados do estudo apontam para a existência de um padrão ideal normativo de gênero sobre as mulheres erechinenses, de modo que, a instituição Arquivo, bem como, seus arquivos fotográficos sobre mulheres atuam em caráter disciplinador e normalizador. |
| Abstract: | The present interdisciplinary study includes gender, memory, archives and photography with the objective of discussing whether an official memorial of the city of Erechim, located in the north of Rio Grande do Sul, marks, through its visual representations about women, a gender ideal. It is also intended to investigate whether it is possible to visualize undocumented power relations of memory and local forgetfulness. The corpus of analysis for this study consists of seventy-six photos stored in folders within the Juarez Miguel Illa Font Municipal Historical Archive, denominated "4. Women" and "4.1 Women". To do so, the research is divided into three parts. The first part addresses discussions that permeate issues of feminism and gender; a second part seeks to clarify the file as a non-neutral intuition and its relations with memory; The third part, supported by problematizations presented in the first two, deals with methodologies of analysis of photographs, thus enabling an analysis of the photographic archives present in the official memory institution of the municipality. Finally, the results of the study point to the existence of an ideal standard of gender on the women of Eritrea, so that the Archive installation, as well as its photographic files on women, act in a disciplinary and normalizing manner. |
