Resume: | Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa e as discussões acerca da adaptação de crianças no contexto da educação infantil, contemplando as relações de apego e a atuação do professor nesse processo. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi o de investigar como professores atuam para promover a adaptação da criança no período de inserção na educação infantil. O levantamento de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevista e da aplicação de um questionário em uma instituição de educação infantil da rede pública e outra na rede privada, com professoras que atuam desde o berçário até o período de pré-escola. Verificou-se que a maior dificuldade enfrentada pelas professoras é a insegurança dos pais e das crianças, e que a estratégia mais utilizada por elas é o uso de atividades lúdicas, objetivando promover a adaptação da criança. A maioria das participantes mencionou o uso de objetos de apego por parte das crianças com as quais trabalham, como nanas, ursos e chupetas, porém os comportamentos de apego que exibem em relação aos familiares não foram mencionados. Nesse sentido, destaca-se o pouco conhecimento sobre as relações de apego e, mais especificamente, sobre aspectos relacionados à Teoria do Apego. |
Abstract: | This article presents a study and discussions on children adaptation in the context of child education, attachment relationships and the role of the professor in this process. The objective of the present work was to investigate how professors act to promote the adaptation of the child in the period of insertion in child education. The data collection was through interview and questionnaire in a public and in a private child education facility, with professors who acted from nursery to preschool period. It was verified that the greatest difficulty faced by them is the use of recreational activities in order to promote child’s adaptation. The majority of the participants reported the use of attachment objects by the children they worked with, such as blankets, teddy bears and pacifiers, although the attachment behavior that children exhibit in relation to their relatives was not mentioned. It is remarked the little knowledge of attachment relations and of aspects related to the Theory of Attachment. |
