| Resume: | A história de resistência ao projeto da barragem de Itapiranga /SC destaca como ponto principal a organização e a consolidação do Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens - MAB nessa região entre os anos 70 e 80. Os objetivos dessa pesquisa foi entender como foram os primeiros passos dessa organização, que entidades estavam envolvidas, quais ações foram realizadas para que a barragem não fosse construída e os impactos que esse projeto já deixou na região ameaçada. Para a realização desta pesquisa utilizou-se de fontes orais e bibliográficas e as dimensões históricas desse trabalho deram-se em torno da história social e cultural. Através da memória dos envolvidos, é esclarecido, como a resistência constrói uma identidade de sujeitos sociais na defesa de seus direitos e a construção de um projeto energético popular. A pesquisa constatou que o processo de resistência na região fez parte da organização e consolidação do Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens. |
| Abstract: | The history of resistance to the Itapiranga / SC dam project highlights the organization and consolidation of the Movement of Dam Affected People (MAB) in this region between the 1970s and 1980s. The objectives of this research was to understand how were the first steps of that organization, what entities were involved, what actions were taken so that the dam was not built and the impacts that this project already left in the threatened region. To carry out this research, we used oral and bibliographic sources and the historical dimensions of this work werebased on social and cultural history. Through the memory of those involved, it is clear how resistance builds an identity of social subjects in the defense of their rights and the construction of a popular energy project. The research found that the process of resistance in the region was part of the organization and consolidation of the Movement of Affected by Dams |
