Renda e consumo das famílias da área rural do Município de Laranjeiras do Sul - PR: Comunidade Barro Preto

Abstract

This research aims to diagnose the standard of income and consumption the rural households of the Barro Preto community in the municipality of Laranjeiras do Sul-PR. The methodology is based on the method of interviews done directly in each family, which in this study is the term designated to describe any family unit, regardless of the degree of kinship or quantity of people and each datum will be studied per family unit and not per person specifies. The questions were analyzed individually and subsequently subjected to a statistical analysis using Excel software. The results obtained from these questionnaires, bring results of characteristics of the socioeconomic profile of families, monthly income values, and consumption patterns. Of the 35 families interviewed, 19 replied that they consume based on permanent income, and may be equated with Milton Friedman's theory. Other 10 families consume waiting for future income to be greater, often countergoing, which it explains in the theory that Franco Modiagliani studies about the life cycle. Already the seven families consuming according to the available income, not spending more than that, resemble the Keynesian vision of income and consumption.
