Violência doméstica e feminicídio em Chapecó

Abstract

This work analyzes domestic violence and the Feminicide against women, which was the result of a qualitative research begins with the documentary mapping: reporting, and basic theory under the chosen theme and with this knowing more thoroughly the political aspects, as well as the influence of the feminist movement in the conquests of judicial scope, which made possible the emphasis on Law 11 / 340.2006 Maria da Penha, and Law nº 13.104 / 2015 on Feminicide. Domestic violence and feminicide, practiced against women, is a form of violation of human rights, it is also the exclusion of women's citizenship. Violence has to be perceived as a social and public health problem, is recognized as a sociocultural phenomenon, not only by the numerical proportions, but also by the seriousness of its psychological and social consequences. Violence against women is a social issue, while it is the subject of study for the social and legal sciences; it is a matter that must be treated seriously, because it is a widespread phenomenon that does not distinguish ethnicity, social class or religion.
