Empreendedorismo universitário na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul Campus Chapecó

Abstract

The present work had as objective to analyze the entrepreneurial actions of the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul campus Chapecó. In order to achieve this objective, a mapping of the actions related to university entrepreneurship was carried out, identifying the University's operation in the training of entrepreneurs, the subjects that promote the entrepreneurial actions, the incentives to university entrepreneurship and its initiatives in the university structure, as well as the main limitations of students in their initiatives. A qualitative study was carried out, classified according to the purposes, being descriptive and as to the means being bibliographical and field research. Data collection was performed through semi-structured interviews conducted in person or by hangout, through a sample for convenience. The results show that the entrepreneurial actions play a fundamental role in the academic, personal and professional formation of university students. Still, some difficulties and limitations could be identified during the course of the study, however they are part of the process, requiring subjects to focus and commitment to the promotion of university entrepreneurship.
