Abstract: Soy is one of the main crops of the present time due to the uses and cultivated in many countries. Due to the importance it presents, it becomes indispensable that new researche make its cultivation more efficient. Although RR soybeans are resistant to glyphosate, there are cases in which harmful effects of phytotoxicity occur, especially when the herbicide is applied at the initial stage of development of the crop. The objective of this work was to verify the efficiency of biofertilizer as a stress reducer in RR soybean in combination or isolated use with glyphosate. The experiment was installed in a randomized complete block design, in the 3x5 + 1 factorial scheme, with four replications. In factor A the treatments of the stages V4, V8 and V4 + V8 were allocated, and in the B treatments with 1080g e. a. ha-1 of glyphosate in isolated and another with addition of 0.1 L ha-1 of biofertilizer, plus a treatment with 2160g e. a. ha-1 of glyphosate in isolated and another with addition of 0.1 L ha-1 of biofertilizer plus one control without application (weeding). The evaluated variables were phytotoxicity at 7, 14, 21 and 28 DAT (days after application of treatments), number of grains per plant, number of pods per plant, weight of one thousand grains and grain yield of soybean. Low phytotoxicity was observed with the application of doses of glyphosate, biofertilizer and the association of the two products in the soybean crop on 7 and 14 DAT. From 21 DAT the phytotoxicity was less than 5%. It was observed that the highest dose of glyphosate (6 L ha-1) + biofertilizer resulted in the highest phytotoxicities in all stages and epochs evaluated, followed by glyphosate (6 L ha-1). Doses the glyphosate above the recommended cause greater phytotoxicity in the soybean crop mainly at the early stages of crop development or in sequential applications and associated or not with biofertilizer. The recommended dose of glyphosate by the manufacturer (3 L ha-1) was the most adequate, practically without phytotoxicity. The number of pods per plant, of grains per plant, the mass of one thousand grains and the grain yield of the soybean were not affected by the application of doses of glyphosate in different stages of development associated or not to the biofertilizer. The use of biofertilizer did not have the desired effect in the present study so more experiments are necessary for its possible indication of use.
