Avaliação de cultivares de feijão em diferentes safras no Município de Cerro Largo – RS

Abstract

The objective of this work is to evaluate the agronomic performance of fifteen bean cultivars recommended for cultivation in the municipality of Cerro Largo-RS, in two distinct seasons. The following characteristics were evaluated: flowering, cycle, height, height of first pod insertion, number of pods per plant, number of grains per plant, number of grains per plant, one hundred grain weight and yield. The experiment was carried out in the experimental area of the Federal University of Fronteira Sul campus Cerro Largo-RS. The experimental design was randomized blocks with three replications. Data analysis was performed with the aid of the Genes Program (CRUZ, 2006), where it was verified the existence of genotype X environment interaction (cultivars X harvests), through joint data analysis (F test at 5% probability of error) for the evaluated variables. The trail analysis described by CRUZ, CARNEIRO (2003) was also carried out to identify which yield components most influence grain yield. The cultivars IPR Uirapuru, BRS Esteio, Triunfo and Guapo Brilhante presented more stable yield among the evaluated environments. The Guateian 6662 cultivar, which belongs to the black commercial group, may be a crop option for farmers in the region, combining precocity and grain yield.
