Da desigualdade moral/política: uma análise acerca da origem e suas possíveis soluções segundo Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Abstract

This monograph aims to make an interpretative analysis of Rousseff's political theory. The central problem of the text is moral and political inequality, so the text presents from its origin to the possible solutions proposed by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. To this end, the text was divided into three chapters: 1) on the origin of moral / political inequality; 2) The Rousseaunian Social Contract; 3) Education as an effective form of the contract. The first chapter is devoted to the presentation of the natural man and his transition to civil man. Such transition was the inevitably cause for the origin of moral / political inequality. The second chapter brings Rousseau's first proposal to solve it, or at least mitigate the moral/political inequality problem: The Social Contract. It is a political contract where Rousseau describes the ideal structure of the politic's body, which seeks equality and freedom for all members of this contract. The third chapter presents education as an effective way to establish this Contract. For Rousseau there is no good policy without good education.
