Educação ambiental no ensino de ciências a partir da análise do livro didático do 6º ano, usado na escola Estadual de Educação Básica José Adolfo Meister, Caibaté, Rs

Abstract

Faced with the need to build a citizen conscience concerned with nature and its relationships, it is necessary to rethink the environmental issue, reflecting on what is being worked at schools and critical of environmental reality, for being the school is an environment where the greatest learning happens, there is a need to analyze textbooks. The textbook is widely used in science classes, therefore its quality and the way in which environmental education is addressed in textbooks were analyzed. In this way, two science books of the 6th grade of the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, 2015, 2016, Elementary School years, of the José Adolfo Meister State Basic Education School of the municipality of Caibaté-RS were analyzed. The books were analyzed in order to critical the material provided by PNLD and how they can influence the quality of teaching. Even though there being an incentive for legislation, the quality of the textbooks did not suffer much progress.
