Formação continuada de professores das escolas da rede municipal de Erechim: limites e possibilidades para a educação integral

Abstract

This research has as its theme “Continuing Education of Teachers of the Schools of the Erechim Municipal Network: Limits and possibilities for Integral Education”. The research is based on the researcher's concerns and observations throughout her professional career, from basic education to higher education, about the need for continuing teacher training. Thus, it is configured as a qualitative research of bibliographical, documentary and field research character having as procedures the interview and focal group developed in two elementary schools of the municipal teaching network of the municipality of Erechim. The research subjects were the pedagogical coordinators, managers and teachers of the schools. The purpose of this study was to investigate, identify and analyze the proposal of continuing education of teachers of the educational network, in order to verify how it subsidizes the pedagogical work of teachers, in the perspective of integral education. Among the conclusions reached, it is possible to emphasize the need of training for pedagogical practice, articulated with the demands of the school context. We also emphasize that the More Education - SME program developed in schools for seven years was pointed out as a period in which continuing education has become effective and has contributed to the needs of the school and teachers. Finally, the teachers emphasize the importance of the partnership with the Federal University of the South Frontier for the development of the continued formation. From the voice of the teachers, research subjects emerge the principles for the continued formation of teachers, product of the dissertation.
