Title: Os processos educativos do MST e a contribuição para a formação do sujeito histórico: a experiência de Santa Catarina na luta pela terra

Resume: Analiso neste Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso da Licenciatura em educação do Campo: Ciências sociais e humanas da UFFS - Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul, os processos educativos do MST - Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra e a sua contribuição para a formação do sujeito histórico. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida no Município de Abelardo Luz, Santa Catarina e foram entrevistadas 04 pessoas vinculadas à luta pela terra e sua militância no MST. Com isso, essa pesquisa foi motivada pela necessidade de situar historicamente o MST e os seus processos educativos; compreender esses processos em sua materialidade e analisar a sua contribuição na formação da consciência do sujeito histórico. O trabalho aborda questões históricas: origens e constituição do MST em Santa Catarina; a educação do MST; e o processo de formação humana dos sujeitos. Em termos metodológicos realizamos pesquisa documental com base nos documentos do MST e pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas com integrantes desse movimento social. Na pesquisa documental encontraram-se elementos necessários para entender a origem, desenvolvimento e consolidação do MST. Com as entrevistas foi identificada a importância que o movimento tem para seus integrantes, como agente formativo, e gerador de oportunidades de amplitude social. Já os processos educativos por sua vez, caracterizam-se por ações realizadas no dia a dia do próprio movimento.
Abstract: I analyze in this paper the conclusion of the course of the degree in rural education: social and human sciences of the UFFS - Federal University of the Southern Frontier, the educational processes of the MST - Landless Rural Workers Movement and its contribution to the formation of the historical subject. The research was conducted in Abelardo Luz, Santa Catarina, and interviewed 04 people linked to the struggle for land and their activism in the MST. Thus, this research was motivated by the need to historically situate the MST and its educational processes; understand these processes in their materiality and analyze their contribution in shaping the consciousness of the historical subject. The paper addresses historical issues: origins and constitution of the MST in Santa Catarina; the education of the MST; and the process of human formation of the subjects. In methodological terms we conducted documentary research based on MST documents and qualitative research through semi-structured interviews with members of this social movement. In the documentary research we found necessary elements to understand the origin, development and consolidation of the MST. The interviews identified the importance that the movement has for its members, as a training agent and generator of opportunities for social breadth. The educational processes, in turn, are characterized by actions performed in the daily life of the movement itself.
