Gênero no movimento das mulheres camponesas: a questão da masculinidade e da violência em um movimento feminino

Abstract

This work analyzes the gender relations and their implications in the formation of masculinities and violence in the Movement of Pleasant Women, whose creation was marked by the emancipation and feminine struggle in search of the guarantee of rights, recognition of their profession and combating the violence caused by the capitalist system patriarchal under the justification of following the standards of a masculinity that harms men and women. It was developed through bibliographical and documentary research, in addition to the analysis of booklets and promotional materials made by the Movement itself and the documentaries “Celibato no campo”(2010) and “Women of the struggle” (2016). Its historical feature is the Chapecó-Sc regional, the cradle of the Movement since the emergence of its propellers, in the 1980’s until 2020’s. Divided into three chapters, the following are worked on: the Movement’s trajectory and women’s lives in the field; the concepts of gender, masculinity and violence and, finally, the relationships between the patriarchal capitalist system that ignores gender violence and its effects in practice. After the analysis carried out throughout the chapters, whose character is the History of the Present Time, it is possible to conclude all the transformations resulting from the struggles carried out by the movement should continue to happen indefinitely after the end of the clipping, since the is no guarantee that the conquered rights will be maintained forever. In addition, despite the work being completed this year, the analysis made is about a movement that will continue to exist after the cut made and the issues addressed will continue to be constantly changing, as well as the historical, cultural and social processes that were analyzed during the search.
