Empreendedorismo feminino na região do Desbravalley: desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres atuantes no coletivo Emílias

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is growing in the face of the economic crisis experienced in our society, with which the potential for leveraging new technologies and innovation has been realized, entering the prism of creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation. Never before has the entrepreneur been so well regarded and aimed at identifying the characteristics that make up an entrepreneurial profile. Not differentiating women from entering the competitive market through their entrepreneurial actions, despite the difficulties they encountered, they strategically created the creation of Collectives aiming to foster entrepreneurship and motivate themselves in the environment in which they operate. Thus, this research sought to find out what are the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs that make up the Collective of Women Emilies in the Desbravalley region predominantly in the city of Chapecó-SC. Using questionnaires of open and closed questions as a data collection technique, as well as semi-structured interviews, in which 29 entrepreneurs responded digitally via Google. The analysis of the results took place through quantitative statistics and content analysis in the qualitative scope. As a result of the research, the prejudice against gender, the difficulties in implementing business and consolidating it, as well as adapting to the constant changes and the lack of management experience, were obtained as responses to the challenges faced. The contributions brought by the study fit the importance of the collective for the entrepreneurs as it contributes and helps them in their trajectory, as well as the scope for further comparative research to be carried out.
