Empreendedorismo feminino: estudo de casos múltiplos sobre as motivações, oportunidades e desafios de empresárias atuantes no ramo de tecnologia na cidade de Chapecó-SC

Abstract

In Brazil, women started larger to conquer a larger space in our society from the moment that some rights previously not imposed on them started have been validated in the same way and equal to the male figure, after many struggles and persistence the female figure started to occupy several sectors from activities where they were not present or there was a low participation, from then on, the ventures that had as their creator a woman emerged, currently female entrepreneurship has been gaining strength and is already responsible for much of the country's economy. This research aimed to analyze the motivations, opportunities and challenges experienced by women entrepreneurs in the technology sector in the city of Chapecó-SC. Regarding the methodology used, it consists of qualitative and classified as descriptive in terms of purposes. As for the means, bibliography and field research. To carry out the data collection, we used the semi-structured individual interview, eight entrepreneurial women in the technology industry were interviewed in this city. Regarding the motivations, several factors were mentioned, but the affinity with the area, the offer of quality services at an affordable price and the opportunity stood out, in wich for each one the chance to undertake arose through a different opportunity, five of which undertook for the first time and three had already had other opportunities. The biggest challenges are linked to managing the business, time, sales, staying in the market, reconciling the enterprise with the chores of the house and preconception. With regard to preconceptions, only two did not suffer any kind of prejudice in their trajectories and one commented that nowadays she hears some macho comments in his work environment and six reported that they have suffered, but nowadays it has been decreasing quite. This study achieved all of its specific objectives listed, thus met the proposed general objective of analyzing the motivations, opportunities and challenges experienced by women entrepreneurs in the field of technology in the city of Chapecó-SC.
