| Resume: | O presente estudo foi realizado entre a população de agentes penitenciários do Presídio Regional de Passo Fundo (PRPF), atentando para transtornos de ansiedade e depressão, por meio de um estudo transversal, durante o segundo semestre de 2020. A amostra foi composta por 50 agentes e os dados foram coletados a partir da resposta de questionários autoaplicados sobre características sociodemográficas, impressões sobre o ambiente de trabalho e situações cotidianas, além dos Inventários Beck de depressão e ansiedade. A análise dos dados apontou para maiores prevalências de ansiedade (18%) e depressão (14%) entre a população pesquisada do que as médias nacionais. Ademais, foram registradas relações entre os índices de ansiedade e depressão e outras variáveis. Ainda, constatou-se que mais de 65% dos respondentes concorda sentir-se em perigo em seu local de trabalho e 84% têm medo de ser exposto a doenças. |
| Abstract: | This research was conducted among the officers of Passo Fundo Regional Prison, focusing on anxiety and depressions through a cross-sectional study, during the second semester of 2020. The sample was composed by 50 prison officers and the data was collected using self-applied questionnaires about sociodemographic characteristics, workplace impressions and everyday situations; the Beck Inventories of depression and anxiety were also used. The data analysis has registered higher prevalence of anxiety (18%) and depression (14%) among the surveyee than the national average. Furthermore, it highlights the correlations of these symptoms with other variables. It has also shown that more than 65% of the respondents agreed to feeling in danger in the workplace and 84% fears being exposed to diseases. |
