Dinâmica agrária da comunidade Santa Luzia, município de Reserva do Iguaçu-PR: perspectivas para permanência no campo

Abstract

The study is dedicated to the analysis and understanding of the agrarian dynamics of the rural community Santa Luzia, located in the municipality of Reserva do Iguaçu, central-southern mesoregion of the state of Paraná. The research took a historical approach to the land formation in Brazil, highlighting the main elements of agrarian dynamics. The formation of the Center-South of the state of Paraná was also analyzed, finally, the construction process of the Santa Luzia Community and the municipality of Reserva do Iguaçu was observed. Using bibliographic research and fieldwork, it was possible to identify the limits of private land ownership and the prospects for staying in the field for families in the community. Where the limitation of access to land plays a central role, being the main generator of the problems and difficulties evidenced during the research. With this parameter in mind, the survey identified two groups of residents, small and medium-sized landowners, who live in a socioeconomic condition considered stable and the dispossessed, who do not have land, live in small plots at the community headquarters. From these different conditions, these groups project the permanence, or not, in the locality, as well as the work and life relationships.
