Violência doméstica à mulher: a abordagem de profissionais de saúde na atenção básica

Abstract

to analyze the approach of primary care health professionals before the identification of violence against women. Methodology: qualitative research carried out in two Family Health Centers, with analysis of the data of the information carried out through Bardin's content analysis. Results: 23 professionals participated in the study, most of them female, nurses between 30 and 39 years old, graduated between 2000 and 2010, previous work in the health field and current work for more than 10 years. Four categories were structured: Perception and identification of what violence is, revealing an expanded perception; Need for guidance for the team, demonstrating the little knowledge of the professionals; Covid-19 context, influencing the increase in cases; Importance of the discussion of violence, a manifestation of raising awareness among professionals. Conclusion: It is necessary to expand the qualifications, networking and the service must seek welcoming and listening techniques aimed at guiding professionals
