Integralidade, universalidade e equidade: representações sociais de profissionais de saúde e pessoas LGBTQIA+

Abstract

This work refers to the reception and health care of the LGBTQIA+ population in primary care in a municipality in the north of Rio Grande do Sul. The objective is to understand the social representations of health professionals of LGBTQIA+ users in relation to the service provided to LGBTQIA+ users. As for the methodology, this is a qualitative research carried out through Bardin's content analysis, with a cross-sectional observational character, linking to the Social Representation Theory, the data collection instrument used an interview script. . The survey no SUS (Hospital Sírio Libanês). 4 participants were nine primary care professionals and seven LGBTQIA+ people. The social representation about the care of LGBTQIA+ people for health professionals, there are thoughts that access to this group is equal to other users of the system, at the same time present beliefs related to STIs. The social representation of care for LGBTQIA+ people for the group of LGBTQIA+ users, they reported that they did not experience difficulties in accessing health services and that they were respected, but they point out that there are issues to be improved in the service, pointing out the need for courses, training about the specific issues of LGBTQIA+ users, in addition to the care with STI's. In conclusion, given these normative paradigms in health care, actions are needed for a more humanized care, investing in permanent education, closer approximation between the LGBTQIA+ community and the health team, use of light care technologies and discussions of this topic still in graduation .
