| Resume: | A presente pesquisa dedica-se a analisar a construção da cidadania pelos estudantes de uma escola municipal situada no município de Estação/RS. A escola contempla, em sua maioria, estudantes pertencentes aos bairros periféricos do município, filhos de famílias trabalhadoras formais e informais que se encontram em situação de invisibilidade social, seja pelos órgãos públicos ou pela sociedade. Esse sentimento reflete nos estudantes, trazendo-lhes desmotivação, descrença de seus direitos e de seus deveres enquanto sujeitos cidadãos, além da ausência de perspectivas de um futuro melhor por intermédio da educação. Buscou-se, a partir deste estudo, investigar em que medida as práticas educacionais desenvolvidas por esses estudantes podem contribuir para a construção de sua cidadania. Na pesquisa, procura-se fazer um estudo qualitativo por meio da pesquisa participante, com abordagem do tipo diagnóstico e intervenção. A pesquisa previa o desenvolvimento de atividades de práticas cidadãs com os alunos do 5º ano do ensino fundamental; entretanto, em função da pandemia ocasionada pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavírus da Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave 2), causador da doença covid-19, a intervenção foi reestruturada, objetivando uma aplicação futura contemplando todos os estudantes da escola. A pesquisa encontra fundamentação teórica sustentada por conhecimentos relacionados à cidadania, subcidadania e escola cidadã, com base em Carvalho (2002), Fernandes (2007, 2008), Freire (1979, 1980, 1993, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2013), Gadotti (1999, 2009, 2010) e Souza (2003, 2018). Nesta pesquisa, o diagnóstico ocorreu por intermédio dos seguintes instrumentos: observações da pesquisadora, rodas de conversa informais realizadas com os professores e a análise dos seguintes documentos escolares: o PPP, as fichas de matrícula e o regimento escolar. A proposta de intervenção aqui apresentada foi estruturada levando-se em consideração a realidade e a necessidade desses estudantes em prol do seu reconhecimento pessoal e social enquanto cidadão pleno de direitos e deveres. Diversas atividades foram pesquisadas e organizadas de modo a atingir os objetivos propostos. São atividades simples que proporcionam aos estudantes o diálogo, a troca de ideias, a interação e o seu posicionamento, para que, assim, compreendam a importância de seu papel enquanto sujeitos. |
| Abstract: | The present research is dedicated to analyzing the construction of citizenship by students at a municipal school located in the city of Estação/RS. The school contemplates, for the most part, students from the city's peripheral neighborhoods, children of formal and informal working families who are in a situation of social invisibility, either by public agencies or by society. This feeling reflects on students as demotivation, disbelief in their rights and duties as citizens, in addition to the absence of prospects for a better future through education. Through this study, we sought to investigate to what extent the educational practices developed by these students can contribute to the construction of their citizenship. Through participatory research, we sought to carry out a qualitative study with a diagnostic and interventional approach. The research foresaw the development of activities of citizen practices with the students of the fifth year of Elementary School, however, as a result of the pandemic caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome 2), which causes the disease covid-19, the intervention had been restructured, aiming a future application contemplating all students of the school. The research finds theoretical basis supported by knowledge related to citizenship, sub-citizenship and citizen school, based on Carvalho (2002), Fernandes (2007, 2008), Freire (1979, 1980, 1993, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2013), Gadotti (1999, 2009, 2010) and Souza (2003, 2018). In this research, the diagnosis occurred through the following instruments: the researcher's observations, informal conversation circles held with the teachers and the analysis of the following school documents: the PPP, the enrollment forms and the school regulations. The intervention proposal presented here was structured taking into account the reality and need of these students in favor of their personal and social recognition as a citizen full of rights and duties. Numerous activities were researched and organized in order to achieve the proposed objectives. These are simple activities that provide students with dialogue, exchange of ideas, interaction and positioning so that they understand the importance of their role as a subject. |
