| Resume: | O presente trabalho teve início nos Estágios Curriculares Supervisionados no Ensino de Ciências e Química, a partir da temática Plantas Medicinais e Chás. A temática fomentou discussões sobre as plantas utilizadas na forma de infusões para tratamento e alívio de determinadas enfermidades. As cinco plantas medicinais mais citadas pelos alunos foram: boldo brasileiro, camomila, canela, capim-limão e macela. Junto ao levantamento os estudantes relataram quais as finalidades e maneiras que são utilizadas, podendo perceber que os conhecimentos dos estudantes e familiares sobre o assunto são totalmente empíricos. A metodologia adotada foi um levantamento bibliográfico realizado em quatro revistas científicas, dentre elas: Química Nova, Química Nova na Escola, Revista de Fitoterapia e a Revista Brasileira de Plantas Medicinais. Tendo como finalidade a busca de estudos sobre a aplicação, composição química e a toxicidade dessas plantas, onde foi possível encontrar 23 artigos publicados entre os anos de 2000 a 2021. Posteriormente, as informações levantadas na literatura foram confrontadas com os relatos dos estudantes e com o Formulário de Fitoterápicos Farmacopeia Brasileira, sendo que, os relatos do estudantes são condizentes com o que relata a literatura e ANVISA. |
| Abstract: | The present work began in the Supervised Curriculum Internships in Science and Chemistry Teaching, from the theme Medicinal Plants and Teas. The theme fostered discussions about the plants used in the form of infusions for the treatment and relief of certain illnesses. The five medicinal plants most mentioned by the students were: Brazilian boldo, chamomile, cinnamon, lemongrass and macela. Along with the survey, the students reported which purposes and ways they are used, being able to perceive that the knowledge of students and their families on the subject is completely empirical. The methodology adopted was a bibliographic survey carried out in four scientific journals, among them: New Chemistry, New Chemistry at School, Journal of Phytotherapy and Brazilian Journal of Medicinal Plants. Aiming to search for studies on the application, chemical composition and toxicity of these plants, it was possible to find 23 articles published between the years 2000 to 2021. Subsequently, the information collected in the literature was compared with the reports of the students and with the Form of Herbal Medicines in the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia, and the reports of the students are consistent with what is reported in the literature and ANVISA. |
